Flights booked, Exhibitionist, TMHT-E, 1st BD Post Op

I have litterally been trying to rebook flights for the April surgery since this past surgery but had no luck, totally frustrated with travel times, dates, price, etc and since the next surgery is already only now 2 months out, I finally reigned in my friend, Debbie, who is also a travel agent to make sure I wasn't missing anything - and I wasn't. Apparently, April is spring break and everyone wants to fly to California - who knew? But, we finally booked them today and for anyone needing travel help, contact Debbie! I'm so thrilled to jump back on a plane as you can imagine - but I am not flying back through DFW thank goodness! Then again lightening can't strike twice...oh wait...
It's been a week of adjustments as it always is post surgery. The first 2 days Abe would say "don't leave me, don't leave me" every time I walked into another room, down the stairs, etc. The kids are crawling into our bed at night, no one is sleeping well and I'm trying to play catch up in just about every aspect which is probably why I came down with a nasty cold. But, we'll get on course again soon, we always do. By day 2 the kids were wrestling, laughing, playing, biting, crying. Abe won't keep his clothes on since I've been home, not sure what that is all about, but it definitely makes for easy potty training.
As of today, Manny is no longer Manny. He said his name is Emmanuel, E-M-M-A-N-U-E---Y...well, he's close. He announced his new name at daycare and school today. For some reason I don't think Teach Me How To Emmanuel is very catchy. He is doing well, his ear seems to be healing, but his merocel sponge looks like it is tipped inside his ear. We see Dr Danny on Friday and he will be removing the sponge then. We do not notice an improved hearing yet (and we are not supposed to) because his ear is full of packing, it is still healing, etc but it would be sure nice to see some improvement sooner than later. One can only hope.....
Thanks to Grandma Judy who sent us more LifeGuard antioxidants for Manny to keep him healthy and tissues healing! And thanks to my great friends who gave me a night of relaxation with many laughs - Bev, Melis, Jen, Heather and Aunt Val. Hey Bev - I may be PB but you PF.
